Guarantee Program of Citydent

Hereby this warranty covers the material, production and application errors of prosthesis under the following conditions. Gum recession, bruxism, teeth extrusion and improper usage of the prosthesis caused by oral hygiene problems, genetic structure and general health condition of the patient are not covered under the warranty. However, we have established a limited warranty program listed below in order to hold harmless our patients in some cases.

Warranty Content
1. Prosthesis fracture that is not caused by external factors (accident, strike, improper usage) (5 years warranty)
  1. Repair and if necessary reproduction guarantee for the first 5 years after the placement of the prosthesis.
  2. Patients who have bruxism (teeth grinding) are not covered by the article 1.a. of the warranty program.
  3. General conditions that are not covered by the warranty program are listed at the related section (points mentioned in Article 2)
2. If porcelain that cover the prosthesis is broken or lifts off. (5 years warranty)
  1. For the first 5 years, if the prosthesis can be removed, we repair it; if not, we reproduce it.
  2. Patients who have bruxism (teeth grinding) are not covered by the article 1.b. of the warranty program.
  3. General conditions that are not covered by the warranty program are listed at the related section (points mentioned in Article 2)
3. Cold-hot sensitivity at the prosthesis area (6 months warranty)
  1. We remove the prosthesis and make the necessary treatment for the related tooth and replace the prosthesis. If it cannot be removed, the prosthesis will be reproduced for free of charge.
  2. Any tooth treatment that is not related to prosthesis is not covered by the patient warranty program.
4. If pain occurs at the prosthesis area spontaneously or because of any pressure (6 months warranty)
  1. We remove the prosthesis and make the necessary treatment for the related tooth and replace the prosthesis for the first 6 months (tooth treatment fee will be added). If it cannot be removed, the prosthesis will be reproduced for free of charge.
  2. After 6 months up to 5 years, we remove the prosthesis and make the necessary treatment for the related tooth, repair the prosthesis and replace it (tooth treatment fee will be added). If the prosthesis cannot be removed and has to be reproduced according to the patient’s demand, 60 % of the current price of the prosthesis will be paid by the patient.
5. Food residue under the prosthesis (6 months warranty)
  1. For the first 6 months after the placement, filling the base of the prosthesis and its reproduction, if necessary, are covered by the warranty.
  2. After 6 months up to 5 years, 60 % of the current price of filling the base of the prosthesis will be paid by the patient.
  3. 60 % of the current price of the reproduction of the prosthesis will be paid by the patient.
6. Problems concerning the aesthetic view and the color of the prosthesis
  1. Reproduction of the prosthesis or changing the forms of the teeth are only covered by the warranty for the temporary prosthesis stage. Any changes after the permanent prosthesis is fixed are not covered by the warranty program.
  2. Patients can ask for the reproduction of the prosthesis with aesthetic concerns during the first 3 months by paying the 60 % of the current price of the treatment.
  3. After the first 3 months, the reproduction of the prosthesis and other changes on it with aesthetic concerns is not covered by the warranty program.
7. If the prosthesis is too high (6 months)
  1. Repair of the prosthesis is covered by the warranty for the first 6 months.
8. If the prosthesis is too low (6 months)
  1. Repair and reproduction (if necessary) is covered by the warranty for the first 6 months. Criteria: if touching point for every single tooth cannot be detected when the patient bites the articulation paper.
9. If the patient cannot chew or grind particular food with the prosthesis teeth (6 months)
  1. If touching point for every single tooth cannot be detected when the patient bites the articulation paper, repair or reproduction of the prosthesis is covered by the warranty for the first 6 months.

Non-Warrantable Conditions
1. Damaged mouth and teeth due falling, traffic accident, etc.
2. If the prosthesis is exposed to extraordinary pressure. For example: breaking nuts with teeth, opening crown cap, biting a wire, etc.
3. If the problem related to the prosthesis is caused by another disease or another treatment other than the prosthesis treatment.
4. Spacing between partial prostheses or between natural tooth and prosthesis that may occur due to swinging of natural teeth as a result of a gum disease.
5. Problems occurring in the prosthesis and teeth due to bone loss because of gum diseases in the region where the prosthesis is located.
6. Problems concerning oral health and aesthetic that may occur due to the space between the prosthesis and gum after gum recession.
7. Problems arising from oral and gum diseases that may occur due to the lack of oral hygiene.
8. For whatever reason, the prosthesis should not be intervened in another clinic without informing Citydent. (If for any reason the adhesive is discarded and the prosthesis is removed, bonding the prosthesis in a different clinic does not violate the warranty).
